Issues papers

Issues papers are an important part of our engagement with the community. We publish issues papers so that we can get feedback on topics from people with a disability as well as other people.

Issues papers ask questions about a topic that is important to our enquiry. You don’t have to answer every question - you don’t have to answer any of the questions, if you don’t want to. But you are welcome and invited to send us any information you think will help the Royal Commission do its work.

All issues papers ask people to respond by a deadline. This is so that your response can be included in initial analysis and help inform any related public hearings. You can provide a response after the deadline and your input will contribute to the ongoing work of the Royal Commission.

The Commission recognises that it is important that responses to issues papers are available to the community and that they are accessible in a range of formats.

Unfortunately, responses to issues papers are often not delivered to the Royal Commission in an accessible format. Should any of the responses to issues papers be required in a different format, our staff will work with you to the best of our ability to try and provide this.

If you require a response to an issues paper in an accessible format please contact our staff by one of the channels below:

  • email DRCenquiries@royalcommission.gov.au
