Public hearing 12: The experiences of people with disability, in the context of the Australian Government’s approach to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout
The Royal Commission held Public hearing 12 in Sydney on 17 May 2021.
This hearing examined the approach of the Australian Government and its agencies to the vaccination of people with disability and disability support workers. It focused in particular on the vaccination program, noting the reports of extremely low rates of vaccination for people with disability and disability support workforce, and the lack of information about the implementation of the rollout.
