Policy & research

Providing feedback or participating in our research and policy work is one of the important ways you can have your say about things that matter to you.

Policy is about looking at issues or problems and developing solutions and recommendations to improve the lives of people with disability.

The Royal Commission will publish issues papers to get feedback from people with disability and others on important topics.

Research is an important part of the Royal Commission’s activities. Our research program is designed to learn about all aspects of violence against, and abuse, neglect and exploitation of, people with disability.

We will also hold roundtables on key issues, to explore options for reform and investigate barriers to lasting change.
